Special Meeting Saturday August 28, 2010 at 11:30 am. This
meeting is at the Fire Hall and will be a presentation from
Wenck Associates Inc about the grant received by the township to
study septic systems on the south east side of Lake Miltona.
Landowners involved were notified and asked to attend this

A Public Accuracy Test of the
voting equipment will be held at 12:15 on Saturday, March 6,
2010 at the Miltona Community Center, 300 County Road 14,
Miltona, Minnesota

Notice is hereby given to the
qualified voters of Miltona Township, Douglas County, Sate of
Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Annual
Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at the
Miltona Community Center, 300 County Road 14, Miltona, Minnesota.
The election Poll Hours will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at which time
the voters will elect:
One Supervisor - 3 year team
One Clerk - 2 year team
A sample ballot is available for
viewing.
In case of inclement weather the meeting and election may be
postponed until Tuesday, March 16, 2010.
The Annual Meeting will commence at
8:15 pm to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.
The Annual Board of Canvass will meet after the close of the
Annual Meeting to certify the official election results.

The Clerks office will be open
Saturday March 6, 2010 from 10am to 12 noon for voting absentee.
The office is located at the Lake Miltona Golf Club clubhouse at
3868 County Road 5 NE. Absentee Ballot Application are available
until March 9th to eligible voters who will be absent for the Miltona
Township Annual Elections .
A sample ballot is available for viewing. Voters who will be absent from their
precinct on March 9, 2010 or who cannot vote in person due to
illness, disability or religious discipline.
